SubTropolis, the world’s largest underground business complex, is a subterranean, 1,150-acre industrial park in Kansas City, Missouri, with nearly 5 million square feet of leasable space. The complex is home to nearly 50 local, national and international businesses with 1,500 employees. SubTropolis is an ENERGY STAR certified warehouse facility. Residential Development, which began in 1993 with one community, has grown to over 3,300 acres of land and over 6,000 platted lots in 12 current and 4 completed master-planned communities in Kansas City’s Northland, North Kansas City, Platte County, Lee’s Summit and Raymore, Missouri.
